This is a dynamic opportunity with room to grow. Phlebotomy certification is required. Located on East 116th St Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the doctor and nurses
Greeting and rooming patients
Recording vitals
Drawing labs
Taking medical and medication history
Restocking supplies
Maintaining a clean pre and post op area, cleaning equipment
Assist with some front desk duties as needed.
Communicating with patients in relation to scheduling follow up appointments.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
Uphold professionalism when speaking with patients and other physicians/medical staff
Other tasks may be assigned as required.
Checking insurance eligibility
Submitting authorizations for office visits and ultrasounds
Authorizing of office visits and ultrasounds
Answer phones
Enter referrals and call to schedule patients
Scribe reports for doctors
Rooming patients
Assisting clinical staff
