St. Pete Arthritis & Rheumatology is private clinic located in St. Petersburg at 710 94th Ave N. We are member of AARA, the largest rheumatology group practice in the US.


Full Job Description
The RN will be responsible for nursing and administrative duties to assist the providers with patient care and follow-up. They should be organized, attentive to details, efficiently manage data, relate and communicate well with others.

They will be involved in direct nursing responsibilities such as patient intake, patient care, order entry, triage calls, lab results, and prior authorizations.


  • Excellent patient relation skills on the phone and inperson, e.g. professionalism in conversation and behavior, and genuine and compassionate demeanor
  • Patient intake, vitals, medication/lab orders, and checkout instructions
  • Intramuscular/subcutaneous injections
  • Patient triage review
  • Patient communication and followup
  • Prior authorizations, insurance verification, pharmacy followup
  • Accurate and detailed EMR management including data entry, document uploads, faxed records, and interoffice communication.
  • Regular consistent attendance, personal appearance, punctuality, and adherence to applicable HIPAA, health, and safety procedures
  • Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
  • IV administration and infusion experience is a big plus

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Holds current RN license.
  • Five (5) years of nursing experience preferred
  • CPR and BLS certified
  • Efficiently uses Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have a valid FL drivers license

Additional Information
Our office hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4pm. We are closed on Fridays and weekends.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
Up to $45.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 32 per week
