DESCRIPTION

Essential duties include:

  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel using Microsoft Teams.
  • Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with addresses, directions, and other information.
  • Welcomes onsite visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines the purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
  • May receive, sort, and route FedEx packages and faxes and maintain and route publications.
  • May maintain fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbooks, and issuing visitor badges.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Have 13 years of experience in general office support.
  • High School diploma. Higher education and prior related work experience are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Sharepoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal associates and external clients.
  • Professionally mature and dependable. Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role, as well as excellent listening skills.

COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $21.07/hr. to $27.39/hr. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.

WATER RESOURCES PRACTICE

Michael Baker International's Water Group provides innovative consulting, planning and engineering solutions for the entire spectrum of the water cycle.

We have proven experience in providing a full range of professional services from scientific and technical analysis, concept through design, and construction support services.

Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.
