    We are actively searching for our new Senior Financial Analyst to be located in the CHS Metro area near our Headquarters.

    You will spend most of your time working with the government leadership with our client but reporting to the Lead Project Manager for this project.

    You will be working with their budgets and helping them forecast, plan, and analyze their money. Excellent career growth potential for Senior Financial Analysts who are seeking longevity and growth in their careers.

    Job Responsibilities For The Senior Financial Analyst

    Provide cost management, cost planning, and budgeting support as directed by and in direct support to the government lead.
    Work in tandem with contractor and government stakeholders to identify and execute high and low-level budgeting and cost-control processesAct in a Directive PMO role, utilizing experience with cost management from a project or program management level perspective to support the successful cost performance of the assigned teamAct as a financial advisor and planner for the assigned teamCoach and mentor government project leads on cost planning, cost estimating, determining budgets, cost forecasting, and establishing and monitoring cost controlsWork in tandem with Project Leads and Team Lead to produce budgets via the NIWC Cost Estimate Tool (CET)Report to and advise the assigned team lead on financial issues and budget prioritiesConduct a financial analysis of the assigned team to evaluate project budgets and other financial parametersContinuously assess the performance and stability of assigned project budgetsRegularly and routinely analyze financial health and performance of projects against established budgets and leadership expectationsPerform formal finance analysis and produces reports as needed or requested by an assigned team leadItemize fees, travel, labor, material, and all other costs by task and by projectProduce charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and presentations that aid government leadership in task execution oversight and assessing financial conditions and decisions

    Qualifications For The Senior Financial Analyst

    2+ years of working in a true financial analyst roleMUST HAVE GOVERNMENT SECURITY/DOD CLEARANCEMUST BE LIVING OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE GREATER CHARLESTON, SC AREAFamiliarity with project and department budget processes and toolsRisk assessment/managementConceptual planning abilityConflict management and problem-solving skillsMulti-tasking abilityCommunication, meeting, and presentation skillsStrong Cost management skillsFinancial expertise paired with coaching and coordination skillsStrong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skillsBachelor's degree
