    Inova Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Infusion for a nursing job in Fairfax, Virginia.

    To help achieve our mission, you will use an integrated approach toward achieving desired patient outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning.

    Your ability to provide comprehensive patient and family education including information about treatments, medications, chemotherapy and other appropriate items, while keeping patients and families informed about all aspects of the plan of care, is required.

    Working with members of the healthcare team to provide patients and families with appropriate resources and support is expected.
    The Research Infusion Clinic is open Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm. Research Infusion nurses work four 10-hour shifts.

    There are no weekend shifts, however you will be trained to cover adult outpatient infusion, which does have Saturday hours.

    Sign On Bonus available for experienced new hire nurses with two year commitment.
    Demonstrates effective and appropriate communication skills among healthcare team members, patients and families. Delegates patient care activities and coordinates unit activities. Integrates nursing research and findings into practice and performance improvement activities. Acts as a clinical resource and serves as a mentor to healthcare team members. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within 2 years of hire; Experience - 1 year of infusion nursing experience.
