Position Summary:


The Brand Ambassador is the guru for facilitating and communicating Edelman, LLC's core values and mission to the community and ensuring the brand is disseminated to our Team.

The Brand Ambassador focuses on cultivating positive relationships with the ideal local target market within our community.

By implementing a boots-on-the-ground strategy and curating a plan for retaining and recruiting new team members through best practices of serving our team is also a majority priority.


Responsibilities:


  • Build and leverage relationships with customers, potential customers, and industry professionals.
  • Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts.
  • Organize, plan, and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
  • Liaise with the Sales department to stay updated on new products and features.
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends.
  • Aid other members of the Leadership team to achieve department and company goals. Maintain positive press relations and act as the face and voice of our brand.
  • Manage our image in the community as well as online and offline communications in the designated market.
  • Communicate news and information of interest about our organization in the most positive light. Promote a better and more attractive understanding of the organization with internal and external communications.
  • Advise decision-makers within the organization regarding the public's perception and actions to be taken to change negative opinions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations that can
support Edelman's goals. These include implementing community outreach programs, organizing events, coordinating volunteers, and developing public

relations strategies that will promote the organization's mission.

  • Nurture meaningful relationships with key community groups.
  • Maintain corporate social responsibility.
  • Participate in all company-sponsored training classes, safety policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism, marketing, fundraising, volunteer work, or other community-based roles or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, and any other software used by the company.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and follow through.
  • A passion to serve others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism, good presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by the company insurance carrier(s)

Working Conditions:


  • Job could contain frequent driving and will require an outgoing personality. Generally spends the majority of the time attending community events, meetings, and making public appearances.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift 550 pounds occasionally.
  • Job works indoors and outdoors, and is somewhat physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy objects on an occasional basis, and working with challenging clients/community members.
