Assistant Dock Master - Tampa, United States - Tampa Bay Fun Boat

Description

Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily slip assignments, docking/departure of vessels, phone calls and light dock maintenance (pressure washing & garbage bin disposal) for the small marina at the Tampa Convention Center.
• Ensure compliance with Tampa Convention Center mandated safety regulations and protocols in the marina area.
• Occasional mandatory meetings with either Tampa Docking Services or Tampa Convention Center.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a marina environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with guests, other staff and employees at the Tampa Convention Center.
• Ability to work under pressure on busy days.
• Ability to work outside.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
