    Description

    Immediate need for a mid-level Supply Chain Specialist This is a contract role with an expected duration of 6 months.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics
    • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics
    • Experience with sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
    • Proficiency with supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery considerations.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers of goods and services to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Manage ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and supply agreement amendments.
    • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
    • Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange transportation and delivery of materials to project sites, including managing customs, duties, and tariffs.
    • Develop a process to track and report key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
    • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks for the product and its services.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain function.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to procurement and logistics.

    Useful Experience, but not required:

    • Experience with a manufacturing start-up
    • Full life cycle procurement experience from feasibility through supply chain audit
    • Experience in related industries—Energy, Pharma or similar
