Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the role of a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist 2 with experiences in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.

The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman's Category Management Team (CMT) within the Mission Systems Sector, which is engaged throughout all aspects of the core technologies used within our major systems.


This position is responsible for executing major procurement activities and providing contractual support and documentation to suppliers in support of programs.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 1+ years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related with a Master's Degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multitask in a challenging environment
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable,
  • Familiarity with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements.
  • Demonstrated negotiation experience

Salary Range:
$59,600 - $93,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
