SUMMARY
The Project Manager is the driving force behind the successful delivery of our critical infrastructure projects.

Leveraging your extensive industry experience and exceptional leadership skills, you will oversee cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of complete utility projects, from fiber optics and electric to gas and water systems.

You will be responsible for all aspects of project management, develop comprehensive plans, manage budgets, and mitigate risks while handling business development, client relationships, staffing and financial oversight.

With a deep understanding of construction methodologies, regulatory requirements, and project management best practices, you will proactively identify and resolve issues, keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and administer engineering and construction projects, including fiber optics, electric, gas, and water.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, construction coordinators, and external stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and mitigate risks to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the utility infrastructure market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Represent the company in meetings with regulators, funding agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, including cost estimates and invoicing.
  • Review and approve contractor and consultant invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of the company's overall financial reporting and strategic planning.
  • Oversee and supervise the work of engineering, technical, and administrative staff.
  • Hire, train, and develop a highperforming team to support project delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative, resultsoriented work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and career growth opportunities for team members.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in the utilities industry, including Fiber Optics, Electric, Gas, or Water.
  • Experience in utility operations, maintenance, and project management.
  • Thorough knowledge of utility regulations, design, construction, and funding sources.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, client management, and business development.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, problemsolving, and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software, GIS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Proficient with Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, and Google Earth.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to utility design and permits.
  • Experience with utility owner software including ArcGIS PRO, 3GIS, ARAMIS, IQGeo, Magellan, PRISM, QGIS, SmallWorld, and STORMS.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
