    Description

    Akkodis is in search of a talented Sr Network Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity with a client in Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid).

    Pay Range: $135,000 to $155,000; Salary can be discussed based on various factors such as experience, education, and location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with colleagues in the Field Technology Engineering team, internal departments, and vendors to deploy and manage a new multi-site network infrastructure.
    • Assess, select, and implement solution packages for new site expansions.
    • Provide insights on strategic decisions alongside the engineering team.
    • Adapt the initial architecture based on evolving requirements.
    • Create and maintain documentation for network designs, best practices, and operational procedures.
    • Offer Tier 2 and 3 support for networks post-implementation.
    • Train Tier 1 support teams on troubleshooting methods.
    • Contribute to monitoring the overall infrastructure as part of the Global Operations team.
    • Update network equipment to the latest firmware release and manage wireless networks, Network Access Control (NAC), and infrastructure monitoring.
    • Explore new methodologies to enhance current network efficiency.
    • Establish and execute network security protocols and procedures.
    • Develop automation tools to enhance deployment and disaster recovery operations.

    Experience:

    • 10+ years in IT.
    • 8+ years in Network Management and Support.
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (Routing/Switching/Wireless certs).
    • Experience in creating and monitoring firewall policies.
    • Proficient in managing, updating, and troubleshooting Routing/Switching/Wireless networks.
    • Experience with various technologies including Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, Rukus, Meraki, MikroTik, and Arista.
    • Skills in Cloudvision, Panorama, Ansible, Python.
    • Knowledge in Azure/GCP/AWS network design and network security.
    • Experience with BGP routing protocol, ISPs troubleshooting, media and broadcast systems, and live entertainment operations.

    Work Environment:

    • Available for flexible schedules, overtime, and weekends based on site operational requirements.
    • Capable of working in dynamic environments with loud noise levels and able to handle physical tasks.
    • Comfortable with travel and physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects.
