The European Site & Network Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at our sites. This ensures the basic supply of our business areas, allowing them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to our plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory compliance.

Electrical Engineer as Head of Network Operations (m/f/d)


RESPONSIBILITIES

At our site, we operate a power grid with a capacity of 750 MW and voltage levels ranging from 400 V to 220 kV. Our Power Supply and Cable Networks unit reliably supplies our production plants with electrical energy. We are looking for you to join our team as the Head of Operational Network Operations.

  • You will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of our power grids and plant facilities.
  • You will lead our team of switchgear operators, including the power control center.
  • In network operations, you will be the point of contact for our internal and external customers at the site.
  • You will not only contribute your expertise within our operations management, but also in internal and external technical committees.
