Summary


The Director of Operations ("DO") reports to the Chief Operating Officer ("COO") and is the primary resource for the COO and Operations Integration Liaison ("OIL").


The DO will also work with the regional and local operations leaders ("RLOL's") in conducting analysis and establishing strategies for effective, efficient, and quality operations, compliance with HUB standards, reporting, and managing training of operations staff.

Job Responsibilities-Director of Operations

Work with COO to identify opportunities, provide recommendations and develop strategies to help ensure effective, efficient, and quality operations.


Provide support and assistance to COO and work with RLOL's to help ensure that both operational service objectives for employees and financial performance of HUB are met.


Analyze and provide reports to COO and RLOL regarding operations staffing to help ensure we maintain quality staff and effectively balance workloads to meet best practices.

Work with COO and RLOL to identify effective reporting to support operations effectiveness. Be highly proficient on business management systems (BMS) and a business process expert to support RLOL.


Assist OIL on a wide variety of M&A integration activities and be the regional operations lead working with various teams on BMS and infrastructure migrations and track all integration projects for the M&A and regional executive leadership.


Ensure that audits to Broker Operations Standards are timely conducted and reports are timely prepared in accordance with HUB standards.

Work with RLOL on training opportunities identified in the audits.


Ensure that Top 200 account lists are prepared and updated to support Critical Path, Flight to Quality and other HUB requirements.

Assist COO to manage outsourcing and outside vendors.

Travel up to 25% per month to HUB Texas offices.


Work with COO and OIL on other duties, including but not limited to, IT ticket escalations, office lease management, office moves, etc.

Work with COO and RLOL to develop, implement, and evaluate training strategies for employees across Texas.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated success working closely with others inside and outside the company.

Strong interpersonal communications skills with all staff, including executive management.

Excellent oral and written English communications skills.

5+ years of experience in leading a high performing team and managing change.

Experience developing and implementing operational improvement plans.

Highly proficient on business management systems, business processes and reporting tools.
