  • Lorton Center

Description

  • Performs a variety of responsible support duties required to maintain transportation services for homeless students.

Qualifications

Required:


  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
  • Three (3) years of progressive experience working with transportation services.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, Fostering Connections Act, and Project Hope, the Virginia Education Program for Homeless Children and Youth.
  • Familiarity with Fairfax County Public Schools transportation regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and take initiative.
  • Ability to deal quickly and accurately with quantitative information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Salary Range
- $48,739 - $82,273
