    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Geologist who possesses advanced knowledge of engineering/geologic principles and practices. This role will be responsible for applying advanced techniques, modifications and theories and serves as a technical expert on matters pertaining to the field of practice. Working with various teams internally and externally, the Senior Engineering Geologist will direct a team of 3-7 professionals and be required to independently study and be responsible for judgment decisions on more complex projects. This role should demonstrate outstanding project management, technical, business development, leadership, and communication skills.

    The ideal candidate will have experience characterizing, evaluating, and solving complex geotechnical and engineering geology problems, designing and managing multiple project phases, and overseeing subcontractors and other field personnel.

    Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.

    YOUR EXPERIENCE

    • Degreed (BS or MS)

    10+ years of demonstrated excellence and progressive experience in senior engineering geology leadership roles

    • License/Registration: Professional Geologist (preferred Certified Engineering Geologist)

    Broad range of experience and expertise with respect to field investigation methods and local and state agency requirements.

    • Culturally can provide platinum level service to clients and co-workers.

    Prior success in terms of pursuit of work in support of both private and public works clients. Including, working closely with marketing and business development staff to pursue new and previous clients.

    Valid California drivers' license, current DMV printout, and vehicle for use to travel to various sites.
