OVERVIEW OF MEALS ON WHEELS AMERICA


Meals on Wheels America is seeking a Data Coordinator to support critical daily processes that uphold the organization's data infrastructure and enable business intelligence for strategic decision-making for funding, advocacy, digital marketing, and Member engagement.

This is an incredible opportunity to gain experience in supporting databases, data transformations, system integrations, and data analysis and have an impact on the wellbeing of America's homebound seniors.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Data Management and is an Arlington, VA based, flexible hybrid working role.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain data integrations between the Association Management System and ancillary systems and resolve discrepancies daily
  • Ensure AMS and CRM database integrity by querying, evaluating, and merging duplicate records
  • Export, transform, import large datasets at planned cadences that enable revenue reconciliation between finance systems and other source systems, monitoring, resolving, or escalating output discrepancies as they arise
  • Maintain external data sources and reference tables to ensure reports are utilizing most current data available (US Zip Code database, Census data, etc.)
  • Assist with custom query building and adhoc list pulls
  • Create SOPs and instructional documentation on processes and provide training to staff as needed
  • Build visualization dashboards using Tableau for the purpose of managing and analyzing data
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework or 1 or more year(s) related work experience
  • Knowledge of SQL querying, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau highly preferred
  • Previous experiencing with notforprofit CRM or AMS systems highly preferred
  • Ability to learn/adopt new tools quickly
