    Senior Power Electronics Engineer - Aurora, NY

    We're seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer in East Aurora to primarily work within the WNY Defense Electrical Group.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of electrical design experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with over 8 years of electrical design experience

    Proficiency in designing PCBs

    Expertise in circuit design, analysis, and testing

    Specialization in power electronics

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    Lead a team of creative, independent individuals

    Foster a collaborative and knowledgeable atmosphere promoting teamwork

    Contribute to new product development through consultation with customers and sales personnel

    Provide consultation on new products and market development efforts

    Develop successful proposal designs, concepts, and cost and schedule estimates

    Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses

    Implement reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program

    Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports

    Assist in interviewing and mentoring junior engineers
