    Description

    Job Summary:

    Managing a department that offers patient care services, ensuring high-quality care and patient-focused services are provided to members across different stages, complying with regulations. Developing and maintaining practice standards, budgets, and staff development. Overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of out-patient/nursing services.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Managing nursing services and out-patient care to meet quality and performance standards.
    • Coordinating service delivery and programs.
    • Developing strategic plans for integrated services.
    • Continuous improvement of clinical practices and services.
    • Ensuring staff compliance with all requirements and standards.
    • Collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
    • Advocating for patients and improving care processes.
    • Managing budgets, resources, and staff development.
    • Implementing policies and procedures to support organizational goals.
    • Resolving HR, safety, and risk management issues.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum three years of healthcare supervisory experience.
    • OR
    • Minimum one year as an Assistant Manager of Ambulatory Care.
    • OR
    • Completion of Kaiser Permanente Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration and one year of supervisory experience.

    Bachelors degree required. Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification required.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations.
    • Interpersonal skills and ambulatory care knowledge.
    • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Supervisory experience in clinical specialization preferred.
    • Masters degree preferred.
