- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish longterm relationships
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Review and analyze purchasing data to identify costsaving opportunities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop specifications for new products or services
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Oversee the performance of the purchasing team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- MarkSystems experience is required
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficient in contract management, negotiation, and vendor management
- Familiarity with logistics processes and MRP systems
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
