    Emerge is seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ownership of full-scale management of small to large scale events. The events include vendor and client management, venue management, production coordination, hotel room blocks, and contract negotiation.

    Although this is a remote role, we are specifically seeking people who reside in the Eastern time zone.

    Job Responsibilities
    ·

    Pre-event planning and scoping working with GrowthEvents team

    ·

    Prepare and manage event budget

    ·

    Closely manage actual cost and margin

    ·

    Event request information validation, approval process and statement of work development

    ·

    Event supplier payment facilitation

    ·

    Event billing coordination based on SOWs working with Emerge finance

    ·

    Pre-event project management (workback schedule, stakeholder management/comms, activity stream management)

    ·

    Pre-event outcomes preparation based on type of event, attendees, list of key accounts

    ·

    Post-event communications to relevant stakeholders with event campaign code

    ·

    Post-even handoff to Emerge DealsDesk/DDE team for potential pipeline identification

    ·

    Preparation of post event summary (proof of performance + initial opportunity attribution)

    ·

    Cadence follow up on all "active" event(s) based on additional opportunity attribution

    ·

    Weekly reporting of PPA dashboard with key event status of recently completed, upcoming (any action required) and proposed requests

    Qualifications
    ·

    BA/BS degree or related work experience

    ·

    Minimum 2-4 years of corporate event planning experience

    ·

    Extensive experience in managing enterprise, leadership-level events in various formats and locations: in-person, hybrid, and virtual.

    ·

    Significant knowledge or experience with various hybrid and virtual event platforms and audio/visual technology products and vendors

    ·

    Attention to detail and strong project management skills

    ·

    Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

    ·

    Possess a take-charge attitude

    ·

    Ability to multitask and troubleshoot problems in a high-paced environment while demonstrating a calm demeanor

    ·

    Demonstrated ability to convene and collaborate with multiple parties with varying interests and priorities

    ·

    Event project management experience

    Work Environment
