The Chair of Movement and Exercise Science at the Institute of Movement Science at the University of Hamburg is seeking a competent team assistant.

The chair is currently in the process of being filled.

The future research focus will be on the integration of multiple factors in the areas of sports/performance, health/illness, and prevention/therapy.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the department head in organizing teaching, exams, and committee work (including coordinating course and workload management, managing the study office, and booking rooms)
  • Support administrative processes within the department
  • Prepare personnel hiring and processes (onboarding and offboarding of new academic and student employees, monitoring contract periods)
  • Manage thirdparty funding and budget within the planned budget (monitoring and reporting) as well as mediumterm financial planning for all employees
  • Independently organize and coordinate business processes, vacation requests, and business trips for all team members
  • Translate texts and project documents for research and teaching purposes into English
  • Schedule, coordinate, and monitor appointments
  • Assist with research and laboratory tasks, including maintaining contact information
