    Responsibilities


    The APP Fellowship Program in Psychiatry Consultation Liaison is a 1-year post graduate specialty training program for NP and PA.

    The program is 80% clinical and 20% didactic and includes side by side education with Psychiatry Residents, Psychosomatic Medicine Fellows, and additional interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

    The fellowship program includes a core program of Psychiatry Consultation Liaison and several specialty rotations meant to enhance the psychiatry consultation liaison provider education, including inpatient and CPEP, among others.

    Excellent communication and teamwork required. . Requires a master's degree in nursing, NYS licensure and national certification. Physician Assistant - completes an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program, NYS licensure and national certification.


    Qualifications

    Nurse Practitioner


    Require a Master's degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.

    Physician Assistant

    Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA ( _National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)_


    NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn.

    The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

    Pay Range


    Pay Range:
    $44.71- $67.07

    _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position.

    Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

    Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process._
