We are currently looking for a new team member to join our youth welfare and childcare facilities in Ellicott City, MD.

SterniPark is currently seeking for our youth welfare and childcare facilities in Ellicott City, MD:

Kitchen Manager for a German/Oriental cuisine (m/f/d) full-time


What we expect from you:


  • Assisting in the preparation of daily meals
  • Calculating the need for food and checking against existing supplies
  • Ordering necessary food items
  • Ensuring smooth meal distribution to surrounding daycare centers
  • Ensuring proper food inspection and storage according to HACCP standards
  • Monitoring compliance with hygiene regulations, cleaning and disinfection tasks, and accident prevention regulations
  • Ensuring visually appealing presentation of meals
  • Assisting in the selection of new employees
  • Creating work and vacation schedules
  • Organizing and conducting trainings (e.g. food knowledge, allergens, equipment)
  • Maintaining contact with service providers and negotiating prices
  • Performing administrative tasks (e.g. creating statistics, overviews, and plans)
