As our Founding Finance & Accounting Leader , you'll be the architect of our financial success, crafting and scaling our infrastructure from the ground up.
Craft the Blueprint:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency,accuracy,and scalability across all accounting and finance functions,including multi-state billing processes .Lead the monthly close,driving a timely,precise financial reporting process,mastering journal entries,reconciliations,and variance analysis.
Build the foundation,establishing the department's strategic direction from scratch,encompassing billing,financial statements,payroll,and more,with specialization in multi-state compliance .Embrace technology,implementing and automating key systems - accounting,cash management,forecasting - you'll be the expert,ensuring smooth integration with multi-state billing requirements.
Forge partnerships,building strong,collaborative relationships with business teams to create scalable processes and best practices,factoring in multi-state complexities.Budgeting Mastermind & Audit Champion:
Co-lead the annual budgeting cycle and ongoing review and reforecast,partnering with execs to build and maintain Frontera Health's financial models,considering multi-state financial impacts.
Treasury & Banking Navigator, Capitalization Table Guru:
Manage treasury and banking relationships,guaranteeing adherence to investment and cash policies,while navigating multi-state financial obligations.
Own employee stock options,409A valuations,and other stock administration functions,ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations.
Who You Are:
Accounting or finance degree holder with 5+ years of Controller experience in a startup environment,preferably with experience in multi-state accounting and billing .GAAP and accounting principles expert,with a deep understanding of multi-state tax and compliance regulations .Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple accounting functions,including multi-state billing processes.
Communication and presentation maestro,able to explain complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Systems guru with implementation and change management experience,skilled in integrating multi-state billing solutions.
Thrives on process improvement and innovation,eager to optimize multi-state billing procedures.
Detail-oriented with a knack for meeting deadlines,even amidst complexities of multi-state operations.
Adaptable problem-solver with a can-do attitude,ready to tackle multi-state financial challenges head-on.
Healthcare experience required; ABA/pediatric behavioral health experience a huge plus.
