Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Instructor to join our team.

As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to nursing students in a clinical setting.

You will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare professionals by imparting your knowledge and expertise.


Duties:


  • Provide clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics
  • Develop and implement learning activities that align with the curriculum and course objectives
  • Utilize learning technology, such as Blackboard, to facilitate student engagement and enhance the learning experience
  • Collaborate with faculty members to develop and revise curriculum materials
  • Assess student performance through evaluation of clinical skills, documentation review, and written examinations
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to promote their professional growth and development
  • Stay updated with current trends and advancements in nursing practice, research, and education
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and ethical decisionmaking
  • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development activities

Requirements:


  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field (Doctorate preferred)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty area (e.g., ICU, Pediatrics)
  • Previous experience in teaching or precepting nursing students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of adult education principles and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in learning technology platforms, such as Blackboard or similar systems
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

$90, $109,566.89 per year
