PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately document notes for patient encounters as they are being performed by the physician. Documenting via transcribing accurate medical histories and physical exam information.
- Documents vital signs and chief complaints. Scribe must be detailed in documentation.
- Scribe should ensure that the treatment plan is detailed and organized based on each diagnosis in detail for future reference.
- Assist providers with sterile procedures to draw medications.
- Position XRay device to requested angles to maximize procedure efficiency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Medical Scribes must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination and dexterity sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required.
The employee is frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel/crouch as well as to stand and walk, spending many hours on his/her feet.
Most procedures require that the Medical Scribes have the ability to hear and see well for the accurate completions of tasks.
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
