Position Summary:
Facilitate, order and delivery interaction between food service customers and Halperns' Steak & Seafood. Seeks growth opportunities in existing customers and brings new customers to Halperns' Steak & Seafood. Represents Halperns' products and services and manages customer business relationships.
Essential Functions:
- Manages customer orders.
- Acquires new customers.
- Develops and maintains customer relationships.
- Manages customer accounts receivables within guidelines.
- Effectively executes the Selling Cycle.
- Develops negotiation strategies.
- Develops pricing strategies.
- Leverages resources to increase growth.
- Delivers effective presentations.
- Conducts customer business reviews.
- Maintains knowledge of industry through industry magazines and local culinary organizations.
- Demonstrates and delivers understanding of the Food Service Industry and its operations.
- Understands areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
- Demonstrates effective sampling.
- Explains key features and benefits of Halperns' products.
- Understands and leverages advantages of Halperns' branded products.
- Explains Value Added concepts to customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- This position requires customer focus with comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally.
- Works effectively in teams and displays integrity and honesty to participate and contribute to branch team efforts.
- Must be goal driven and have great organizational and administration skills in order to self manage and develop discipline while remaining flexible and coachable.
- Must be able to meet and exceed sales performance goals and execute great time and territory management.
