- Organize supplies and clean equipment required to serve meals
- Assist with setting up and serving of a lunch meal
- Greet the program participants as they arrive
- Assist with clean up after lunch and activities as needed, Assist with implementation of program objectives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters, including but not limited to clients, personnel budgets, contracts, Board of Directors,
- Attend and assist Program Support Specialist or assigned staff with or while on outings for senior trips
- Assist with serving food during catered events hosted onsite.
- Report any incidents to Senior Services Dining Site Coordinator.

Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living-wage employment, and affordable housing. We meet immediate needs with food, clothing, and healthcare and offer the tools one needs to live with hope, dignity, and greater independence.SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a Kitchen Aide to join our Senior Services department at our Karin House location.
Position Description: Responsible for the daily operations of serving the noon-day lunch to program participants and assisting with program activities as needed.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (20 hours per week)
Qualifications:
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Preferred: 1+ year related work experience, Experience working with senior population desired.
Required License/Certification: Food Handlers License, CPR/First Aid Certificate
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Reports to: Community Dining Site Coordinator
