    Sr. HR Benefits Specialist - Permanent position in Alpharetta, GA

    Hybrid - 3 days onsite (T,W,TH) 2 days remote (M,F)

    Salary Range: Up to $64K + 401K and contributions to Savings / Retirement Plans

    Client would like to see candidates that have a Spiritual Christian Walk in life with Christ

    This role contributes to the strategic and operational aspects of domestic and international employee benefits, directly impacting the overall well-being of our employees and the effectiveness of benefits management.

    The Senior Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the strategic administration and coordination of comprehensive benefits programs in the United States and Canada. This seasoned professional will manage benefits enrollment, serve as an advocate for employee benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

    Benefits Administration


    • Conduct in-depth research and administration of healthcare, wellness, retiree, retirement, and leave programs.


    • Oversee and improve benefit processes, ensuring proper education and training for all benefits-related matters.

    Vendor and Insurance Liaison


    • Collaborate with brokers, vendors, and insurance companies to manage plan summaries, invoicing, and renewals.


    • Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding insurance claims and dispute resolution.

    Compliance and Communication


    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR and benefit laws to lead efforts in benefit compliance.


    • Communicate complex benefit information clearly to employees and resolve issues promptly.

    Benefits Program Management


    • Plan and administer new hire enrollments, orientations, annual open enrollments, and terminations.


    • Provide support on high-impact projects and ensure the effectiveness of the benefits team.

    EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE


    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.


    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration.

    SPECIALIZED SKILLS


    • Proficient in benefit administration systems, preferably Workday HRIS.


    • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and the ability to perform complex functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.


    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

    OPTIONAL


    • SHRM Certification preferred.


    • GBA, CEBS Certification preferred

    COMPETENCIES


    • Advanced research and analytical skills.


    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.


    • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and employee benefits.
