- Perform analytical and attention to detail in reviewing vendor invoices; manipulate large set of data to validate and/or challenge vendor charges
- Perform periodic review and reconciliation of statement of account using PDF or Microsoft Excel skills
- Effectively communicate with vendors any billing issues noted from review of invoices and statement of account reconciliation
- Ability to multi-task and use time management skills in processing high volume invoices containing big data set of transactions
- Able to deal with and keep calm under pressure from vendors on payment follow-ups and resolving billing issues; maintain a good working relationship with vendors
- Manually process invoice payments (PO and non-PO) in SAP in a timely manner with complete accuracy
- Scan and file paid invoices in an organized and timely manner
- Consistently challenge existing procedures to enhance and/or improve the payment or invoicing processes
- Other duties as assigned
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience with software applications such as PDF and MS Excel required.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures with consistency and accuracy
- Practical problem-solving ability, critical thinking skills, effective time management
- SAP experience is preferred but not required
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Lead AP Clerk to join our Fed Beef Trade division at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO.
