What would you do? The AP Clerk is responsible for closing Purchase Orders (POs), inputting invoices, reaching out to vendors for invoices/statements, researching POs, doing AP special research projects, and paying bills in assigned software.
They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.
What will you be responsible for?AP Duties Assists Accounts Payable Lead with assigned AP functions.Scan invoices, obtain approvals, code invoices accurately and timely, recording of all AP transactions and payments.
Uses company software to look up POs/invoices for our companies and compares invoices to accounting software to adjust as needed.
Reconciliation of vendor and credit card statements for paymentsOther Duties Backs up all positions, assisting with their duties, in the office during vacation periods, illness, or when the office is in a peak load situation.
Assist with other duties as assigned.Do you have the necessary education & experience?High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Associate degree, equivalent formal accounting training, or work experience in accounting is preferred.1-3 yearsof accounts payable or general accounting experience.1 year of general office experience.
