Description

Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory procedures and tests, such as blood sampling and phlebotomy, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Follow aseptic techniques to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring they are properly cleaned and calibrated.
Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
Assist with data entry and record keeping of test results.
Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment is a plus.
Ability to perform blood sampling and phlebotomy techniques accurately and safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
