Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and assist in the rehabilitation process.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
Provide handson therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in the field of physical therapy

Skills:

Acute care experience preferred
Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospital procedures
Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus
