Testing Lab Coordinator
Job Description:
This position includes a variety of task involving testing/assessment management.
The Assessment Department is a fast pace professional environment, individual must have a good understanding of security and integrity of secured testing products.
Individual must have good communication and customer service skills. Individual will monitor candidates taking exams. Must register candidates, print scores and provide score interpretation. Maintain a proper testing environment. Maintain confidentiality of all testing material and candidate scores. Maintain database and files, coordinate proctor schedules to keep lab secure at all times. Be team player, provide testing compliance documentation, attend all assessment trainings, maintain all proctor credentials are current. Utilize Microsoft, Excel, Word, Forms, Teams, etc. Ability to prioritize and execute task in challenging times. Keep testing lab cleaned and efficiently supplied with materials. Provide on-going training to lab assistants, have adequate understanding of software testing products. Monitor user's access to testing lab computersAdminister and proctor ALL assessments with integrity and adhere to compliance regulationsProvide a fair testing environment for students/candidatesProvide excellent customer service to students, candidates, and colleaguesEnsure that All and Any user does not load any software on lab computers that are not approved by the Hinds ITAssist in the identification and procurement of various assessment instrumentsParticipate in industry assessment and planning of assessment eventsProvide scheduling of All assessments offeredKeep a record of inventory devicesMaintain a clean lab and its need for resources to conduct business as an efficient testing labPrepare workstations for assessment functions and testing eventsComplete timely monthly assessment reportsParticipate in industry assessment and planning of programs to increase assessment viabilityResponsible for keeping testing credentials and certifications currentTroubleshoot problems with assessment team members across all campusesAssist with team members' on-the-job training as neededAnnually evaluate and make recommendations of objectives to improve the effectiveness of testingMaintain the security of test administration and maintain the confidentiality of all test products and student/client scoresOversee maintenance of testing computers collaborating with IT and the IT proctor for equipment modificationAssist in the administration and proctoring of MSVCC (Elearning) testingCoordinate remediation and re-testing services for students and clientsIdentify non-high school graduates who need to take the (ACCUPLACER) ATB- "Ability-to-Benefit" testInput scores in the Hinds data system as neededCollaborate with colleagues and High School personnel for off-campus testingAdminister and score the Residual ACTAssist respective Deans with registration and other events where testing is neededAll other duties assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
