    JOB TITLE: Assessment Proctor Coordinator

    GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    AA or AS Degree

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES , include the following.

    Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

  • Monitor user's access to testing lab computers
  • Identify the student/candidate with proper identification per vendor requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
  • Monitor user's access to testing lab computers
  • Administer and proctor ALL assessments with integrity and adhere to compliance regulations
  • Provide a fair testing environment for students/candidates
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, candidates, and colleagues
  • Ensure that All and Any user does not load any software on lab computers that are not approved by the Hinds IT
  • Assist in the identification and procurement of various assessment instruments
  • Participate in industry assessment and planning of assessment events
  • Provide scheduling of All assessments offered
  • Keep a record of inventory devices
  • Maintain a clean lab and its need for resources to conduct business as an efficient testing lab
  • Prepare workstations for assessment functions and testing events
  • Complete timely monthly assessment reports
  • Participate in industry assessment and planning of programs to increase assessment viability
  • Responsible for keeping testing credentials and certifications current
  • Troubleshoot problems with assessment team members across all campuses
  • Assist with team members' on-the-job training as needed
  • Annually evaluate and make recommendations of objectives to improve the effectiveness of testing
  • Maintain the security of test administration and maintain the confidentiality of all test products and student/client scores
  • Oversee maintenance of testing computers collaborating with IT and the IT proctor for equipment modification
  • Assist in the administration and proctoring of MSVCC (Elearning) testing
  • Coordinate remediation and re-testing services for students and clients
  • Identify non-high school graduates who need to take the (ACCUPLACER) ATB- "Ability-to-Benefit" test
  • Input scores in the Hinds data system as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues and High School personnel for off-campus testing
  • Administer and score the Residual ACT
  • Assist respective Deans with registration and other events where testing is needed
  • All other duties assigned
