    Description

    Join Our Team as a Medical Case Specialist I at Leidos QTC Health Services

    Leidos QTC Health Services is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team as a Medical Case Specialist I in San Antonio, TX.

    Who is Leidos QTC Health Services?

    Leidos QTC Health Services partners with government and non-government organizations to meet current and future healthcare program needs. We specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, occupational health services, and case management solutions.

    In this role, you will:

    • Make daily outbound calls to schedule medical appointments
    • Communicate directly with claimants
    • Triage referrals and assign appropriate medical tests
    • Ensure timely scheduling and case management
    • Provide necessary documentation to examinees and healthcare providers
    • Handle other assigned projects and duties

    You must have:

    • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or 2 years of relevant experience
    • 0 to 1 years of related experience

    Preferred qualifications include:

    • Strong English communication skills
    • Experience in coordinating patient appointments
    • Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

    What to expect:

    • Initial training schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm for the first 2 weeks
    • Week 3 schedule: Wednesday - Friday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (up to 3 months onsite training)
    • After training, the position will be remote
    • Starting pay: $17.20 per hour, with scheduled increases

    Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical, or insurance industries

    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

    Licenses & Certifications: Preferred certifications include Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Coder, Certified Nursing Assistant

    Skills:

    Required skills include written and verbal communication, computer literacy, and medical terminology. Preferred skills include problem-solving, medical documentation, and customer service.
