Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking an Echocardiographer to join the Non-invasive Lab Team:

Shift:
_Part-Time_ - 8 hour shifts rotating between 6am to 5pm.


Unit has 5 rooms for Echos. Echocardiographer
will perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound. Echocardiographer will work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and will also work with patients at the bedside.

Education:


  • Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines.

Certifications/Licenses:


  • Adult echocardiography registry (RCCS or RCS or RDCS ) required within 12 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is one of just five Level 1 trauma centers in Virginia, home to the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and the region's first Magnet hospital and nationally ranked heart program at the Sentara Heart Hospital. The hospital sits on the Eastern Virginia Medical Campus which serves as the primary teaching institution.

Heart, Kidney, and Pancreas. We are a Certified Stroke Center and the only Level 3 Epilepsy Center in the area.
