Overview:
Seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager.
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our food products.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance programs and systems to meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee product testing protocols, including raw materials, inprocess, and finished product testing.
- Implement statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve production processes.
- Stay current with food safety and quality regulations, standards, and industry practices.
- Ensure the company's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and quality.
- Conduct routine inspection and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality specifications and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
- Investigate and address nonconformances and customer complaints related to product quality.
- Collaborate with the operation team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced quality control measures.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality assurance activities, including testing results, audits, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management.
- Provide training to employees on quality assurance procedures and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field (preferred)
- 24 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the food manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HAACP, SQF, BRC)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced production environment
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay:
$75, $90,000.00 per year
