- Assisting with food and table preparations before events
- Running food from the kitchen to event locations promptly
- Setting up buffets according to food presentation standards and safety practices
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance
- Remaining composed in fast-paced environments
- Utilizing tray service skills effectively
- Serving plated dinners and addressing guest requests promptly
- Communicating effectively with the catering manager, fellow servers, and event organizers
- Handling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service
- Assisting in venue cleanup post-events and aiding in inventory and food storage tasks
- Preparing tables, laying out utensils and napkins, and ensuring condiments are stocked
- Assisting in room setup, including arranging tables and chairs
- Demonstrating extreme attention to detail and delivering quality presentations
- Completion of at least two years of High School or possession of a High School Diploma or GED
- Capability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 35 lbs
- Prior experience as wait staff is beneficial
- Knowledge of catering practices is an advantage
- A clean background check
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Organized and adaptable to dynamic work environments
- Ability to multitask during peak hours and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- A competitive hourly wage of $20.00
