Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of administrative experience
- Experience arranging travel and developing itineraries
- Ability to identify work priorities
- Good organization and time management skills

Responsibilities:

Coordination of Supply Inventory, Ordering and Finances: Responsible for assessing supplies and inventory and orders as needed. Coordinates of all ordering for the unit. Interfaces closely with the school's business coordinators and administrators to ensure orders are handled properly and appropriate accounts are utilized. Responsible for the unit's credit card and for reconciling the credit card each month.

Logistical Coordination of SVMBS Office of Research and Graduate Studies Program and Event:Logistical coordination of the numerous programs and events that are organized by the SVMBS Office of Research and Graduate Studies. Creates advertisements, collects RSVPs, creates pre and post event surveys, arranges room reservations, provides AV support, orders food, coordinates the requisite vendors to execute the event, etc.

Travel Coordination: Manages all travel associated expense reports and reimbursements for travel of those within our unit, prospective graduate students, and guests.

Data collection: Provides data collection services for both research and graduate programs within the School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Administrative Support and Liaison with Graduate Student and Postdoc Groups:Serves as administrative support and act as a liaison with the school's Graduate Student Associate and the school's Postdoctoral Association. Serves as the college administrative representative on the TAMU Postdoctoral Research Symposium Planning Committee to coordinate the annual TAMU Postdoctoral Research Symposium.

Scheduling Support for the Unit: Arranges all room reservations and works with the school's facilities office to ensure facilities needs are met for programs and events. Responsible for placing all unit events on the college calendar and as appropriate developing digital announcements to be displayed on monitors throughout the school's buildings. Performs other duties as assigned.
