This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below)
On-Site Requirements:
On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Lexington Park, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually.
Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week.
Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.Essential Functions:
Ideate, design, develop and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle databases and applications. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database connection and performance issues. Occasional daily/evening/weekend support Supports Development teams as needed. Mentoring other DBAs as needed. Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Proficient with Oracle. Familiar with Unix/Linux. Experience working with Oracle scripting, data management, and application development. Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers. Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Comp TIA Security+ CE certification. Operating system training certificate of completion for the UNIX operating system. Operating system training certificate of completion for the Windows operating system. See Education requirements below.
Desired:
Experience with Informatica. Experience with Qlik.
Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required and must be eligible for Top Secret Clearance (SSBI). Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
