Responsibilities:


Qualifications:

PhD (or equivalent international degree) or enrolled in a PhD degree program (or equivalent international degree).

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

Preferred qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in leading projects on the epigenetic regulation of metabolism and adipose tissue metabolism, particularly under diabetes.

Skills in designing and executing experiments using mouse models and mammalian cell cultures.

Expertise with analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including bulk RNA sequencing, single-cell RNA sequencing, and whole genome bisulfite sequencing.

Skills in developing custom scripts for data visualization using Python and R.

Experience in collaborating with a team of researchers to drive projects towards publication in high-impact journals.

Demonstrated experience in communicating findings at international conferences and seminars.

Commitment to mentoring junior researchers and students in molecular biology techniques and computational data analysis.

Experience in disease models, focusing on metabolic diseases, neuroscience, and cancer.

Proficient use of molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as Western blot, qPCR, ChIP, cloning, and CRISPR/Cas9 systems.

Demonstrable publication record in peer-reviewed journals
