Starting immediately, our team "Vendor Management" is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist in Event Management (m/f/d) at our location in Freiburg. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

You will be responsible for managing all equipment materials for Haufe Akademie
You will plan and organize the optimal equipment for events, and act as the main contact for our partners, service providers, and logistics companies
You will search for the right materials, conduct price analyses and calculations, negotiate with partners (suppliers, logistics companies, trainers, manufacturers) on an equal footing, and always act in an entrepreneurial manner
You will regularly negotiate contracts and prices and ensure successful implementation of new contracts
You will coordinate and manage smooth shipping and logistics processes
You will act as the interface between suppliers and our company
You will also research new (sustainable) material trends and innovations for our on-site presence and our customers

WHAT YOU BRING:

You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree
You ideally come from a purchasing background or have experience in a similar role
You have several years of professional experience in contract and partner management
You are experienced in conducting price calculations, negotiating with contract partners
