- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare and upload journal entries, reclassification entries and allocation entries.
- Assist with the compilation of information for the annual audit with outside CPA firm
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Looks for ways to process improve or leverage technology to streamline processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
- Ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate reports in a timely fashion.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.

- Education and/or Experience: Possess a bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting. Between 0 - 1 years of experience in general ledger/month end close. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel knowledge is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Advanced computer skills utilizing accounting software and databases.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to organize and manage personal workload. Strong problem-solving skills.
