In 2009, we created Strategos Training and Services, a professional training company focused on providing services, education, and training to United States military personnel.

Strategos Training and Services specializes in non-personal support services, professional instruction, training analysis, training plan development, and curriculum development.

Strategos is seeking an Electronics, Technical Maintenance I in pursuit of a government contract.


Performance Location:
Camp Michael Monsoor


Hours of Work:

Workforce shall be available Monday Through Friday between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and availability on Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Total hours covered to equal 40 hours, but not to exceed 80 hours a week or as other
- wise required in support of customer training schedules. Changes shall be coordinated with the local POC in advance of requirements when known. The SELLER will provide notice of any type of leave of absence 48 hours prior to that leave.


Requirements:


  • Possess a secret security clearance prior to beginning support of this effort and maintain said clearance throughout duration of support of this effort.
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and be able to obtain appropriate special license/certification for equipment required for their specific position in accordance with the NAVFAC P-300. Equipment to be operated may include forklifts, 15K truck, hydraulic equipment, backhoe, small earthmoving vehicles, bush hogs/mowers, small boats, ATV's, etc. Specific maintenance, repair, and logistics equipment operated may vary by geographic range region and range complex.
  • Possess excellent work ethics, verbal and written communication skills and be detailed and accurate in performing all administrative and routine functions.
  • Be able to work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks and meeting stringent timelines. Be able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary, such as correspondence using the Navy Correspondence Manual (specific to the team leads and range liaison personnel).
  • Be willing to attend and satisfactorily complete, required training associated with job responsibilities.
  • Cross-train with other contracted positions to fill in during absences (specific to exempt/salaried positions).
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Be able to perform data entry on PC-based computers utilizing current versions of Microsoft Windows and Office products.
  • Be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must know how to operate the ATA Defense Company's Portable Infantry Target Systems (PITS).
  • Be Range Safety Officer qualified or willing to attend Range Safety Officer certification training to support single shooter range usage.

Qualifications:


Performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Additionally, this position will require assisting other range support personnel in the conduct of general maintenance and repairs to support training ranges in an operationally ready and safe conditions, assisting in the fabrication of facades and target structures, and the installation of hollow core, solid core, residential steel, industrial steel, and various locking systems for use as targets on training ranges.

All personnel supporting maintenance of live fire ranges need to do-so in accordance with applicable Navy directives (e.g. UFC SMALL ARMS RANGES, NAVSEA OP-5, AR for compliance and safety.
