Summary
The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I is to perform experiments for research projects.


Key Functions

  • Process and analyze tissue samples by e.g. Immunofluorescence analysis, PCR and Western blotting.
  • Performs cultures of cell lines or primary cells.
  • Assists with animal experiments and tissue collection as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.
