Summary
The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I is to perform experiments for research projects.

Key Functions

Process and analyze tissue samples by e.g. Immunofluorescence analysis, PCR and Western blotting.
Performs cultures of cell lines or primary cells.
Assists with animal experiments and tissue collection as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.

EXPERIENCE:
No experience.
