Job Summary and Qualifications:

As the Case Cart Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all equipment and instrumentation for all departments that fall under surgical services that are out for repair or need to be replaced. You will ensure all equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and operational, and maintain organizational accuracy. You will facilitate the needs of surgical services staff with regard to hospital operations, and act as a trainer and mentor to team members. You will handle changes in the department including new contracts and equipment, act as a resource for vendors, and ensure surgeon satisfaction.

You will assist with and oversee specialty tasks performed by Surgical Technologists to ensure the unit is provided with supplies, instruments, and necessary equipment for procedures:

You will participate in budgeting and inventory control:

Job Qualifications
-
Four recent years of experience as a LVN or CST with demonstrated competency in multiple inpatient and outpatient surgical specialties**:


  • Experience in orthopedics, robotics, general, neurology, GYN and CV:

High school diploma or equivalent:


  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program:

Licensed Vocational Nurse OR Certified Surgical Technologist:


  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
