- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the production and warehouse teams
- Assists in leading, supervising, and coaching associates within the operations team
- Participates in the daily manufacturing activities per the production schedule
- Monitors associate productivity to ensure the production schedule is met and customer orders are shipped on time
- Coordinates with other support departments in the execution of production and shipping objectives and goals
- Manages inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting on a semi-annual and annual cycle. Additional cycle counting as needed.
- Ensures that all operations and facilities comply with the policies, GMP standards, and SOPs
- Ensures full operational compliance to all site procedures and applicable regulations
- Ensures safety, health and environmental compliance is included as part of everyday activities
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Warehouse experience is a plus
- 2+ years of experience managing employees is a plus
- ISO9001 and/or ISO13485 Quality Management System knowledge is a plus
- Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing the workforce, conflict management, and working in a team environment.
- Proficient with business software (ERP, MS Office & Excel)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for hours at a time
- Must be able to wear PPE for hours at a time (mask, gloves, hairnet, safety glasses and lab coat)
