POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in R&D projects for the development of high-power optical laser systems for metal 3D printing. Working alongside a team of highly skilled experts from around the world, your responsibilities will include:

Developing optical systems for use in metal 3D printing machines to improve process quality and ensure consistent and reliable process control
Utilizing knowledge of laser-material interaction to determine the most effective method for delivering optical energy and achieving optimal metal fusion results
Setting up, commissioning, and testing optical systems and prototypes, as well as conducting and evaluating test series
Designing new optical and optomechanical concepts, simulating
