- Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to obtain the required images.
- Adjust imaging parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Evaluate images for quality and clarity, and identify any necessary re-scans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control checks.
- Must hold current ARRT registration as an MRI Technologist.
- Should possess a deep understanding of MRI imaging techniques, protocols, and procedures, as well as proficiency in operating advanced MRI equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Additionally, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are paramount for success in this role.
